Cancellation Policy

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE RENTAL: You must be 21 with a valid driver’s license and provide proof of auto insurance to rent a golf cart and/or scooter (vehicle). Renter agrees that only the licensed driver on this reservation may drive the vehicle unless other drivers have been added in the reservation. Renter accepts responsibility for any fines incurred by these drivers or any unauthorized users of the vehicle. Vehicles can be driven on city streets provided the posted speed limit is 35 MPH or less. You may cross M-55 (Houghton Lake Dr) however driving on M-55 is prohibited. DO NOT drive in the water or on the ORV trails. These are considered “Vehicles” and must abide by all laws and regulations as other vehicles on the road. Renter agrees not to drive or allow anyone to drive vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. No one may sit on the driver’s lap while the vehicle is in motion. Do not allow children or others to play in/on the vehicle. Golf carts are limited to a maximum of 4 persons and that all passengers must be seated at all times while cart is in motion. Scooters are limited to one person only and the driver must wear a helmet. Violation of rules or driving laws will result in the rental rights being terminated, without refund for remainder of time for the rental period. Inform management as soon as possible of any and all damages that happen or items not in working order. Renter understands and acknowledges that they may incur personal injury or bodily damage while driving vehicle. Renter agrees to be held liable for all damage caused to vehicle during the term of the rental. Renter releases, holds harmless, and forever discharges Weathernabb Recreation Co of actions, claims, expenses or damages of any kind growing out of or related to renting the vehicle. All damages or losses, personal or otherwise, to self or others, shall be at the risk of the Renter and not Weathernabb Recreation Co. Renter acknowledges that this is a full and complete release for all injuries and damages, which the renter or others may sustain as a result of renting vehicle. Reservations may be cancelled with a full refund at least 24 hours before the rental start time. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of rental start time do not get a refund.
